About this money-risk desk
NGC Insight publishes independent UK information on non-GamStop casinos from a consumer-finance point of view. We do not carry operator names, affiliate links or advertising, we do not accept commercial revenue from any part of the gambling supply chain, and every claim we make about a rule, a rate or a regulator is anchored to a public UK source dated within the last twelve months.

Our mission and our independence
NGC Insight exists because the gambling conversation in the UK still misses the layer we care most about, the layer where a pound leaves a current account and either arrives somewhere lawful or gets pulled aside by an automated check no one has explained. Our mission is to publish clear, precise and reproducible UK information about the consumer-finance mechanics of the non-GamStop question, so that any UK adult reading a page here can leave it with a better understanding of what their bank does with an authorisation, what a CuraƧao-licensed operator is bound and not bound to do, where the UK Gambling Commission's remit stops and which UK institutions can help when something goes wrong.
Independence is the operating principle rather than a marketing line. NGC Insight has no operator partnerships, does not carry affiliate links or referral fees, does not accept revenue from payment processors that acquire for gambling operators, does not accept revenue from trade bodies whose membership includes operators, and does not accept speaking fees from any organisation on the same list.
The site is funded through the editor's own resources and, where a specific research project requires it, through publication-neutral research grants disclosed on the relevant page. If a page ever carries a commercial disclosure it will be at the top of the page in the same typeface as the body copy, not in a footnote.
How we produce and fact-check our content
Every page on NGC Insight is written by the named author, reviewed by the named reviewer and signed off in date order before publication. Cordelia Ashworth writes the copy, checks every figure against a primary UK source and drafts the first FAQ set. Priya Rajan CFA reviews the copy against her working experience as a financial-fraud investigator, checks the AML framework references against the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 as currently in force, checks the enforcement figures against the UKGC public register and holds a right to remove her name from any page whose factual position she cannot defend. Both roles are documented in the author box on each content page and both names appear on the JSON-LD Article schema.
Every currency figure and legislative reference is verified against a source document dated within the last twelve months, and the review date on the footer of each page is the date the reviewer signed the last audit. Where a rule changes between reviews we update the page and rerun the audit rather than issuing a patch.
Corrections are handled as first-order editorial events, are logged on an internal changelog and are noted on the page itself where the change is material. Reader correspondence at [email protected] is answered in writing rather than by phone.
How we handle operator names and bonuses
NGC Insight does not publish operator names, does not run bonus tables, does not publish comparative rankings and does not link to any casino, offshore or otherwise. The reason is a mixture of ethics and utility. The ethics are straightforward. A large share of the audience for a non-GamStop search sits somewhere on the harm spectrum, and the responsible way to write for that audience is to give them the framework, not the shortlist.
The utility follows from the ethics. A reader who wants a shortlist has hundreds of pages to choose from, and none of the shortlists provides the framework, so the framework is the useful contribution NGC Insight can make.
Outbound links on the site point only to UK public institutions and to the small set of harm-reduction charities, GamCare, BeGambleAware, GamStop, Citizens Advice, StepChange, National Debtline and the NHS. We do not link to affiliate networks, to VPN services, to cryptocurrency exchanges as operator-adjacent destinations or to any commercial gambling removal service.
If a link appears on the site and the reader cannot identify the destination as a UK public institution or a harm-reduction charity, the link is an error and we ask readers to report it to [email protected] so we can remove it.
How to reach us and flag corrections
Correspondence for the editorial team, including corrections, factual queries and requests for follow-up on any page, should be addressed to the editor at [email protected]. Postal correspondence can be sent to the address provided on request by email. We answer correspondence in writing within a reasonable time and treat every correction as a first-order editorial event rather than a footnote.
If a reader disagrees with a factual position on a page, the fastest route to a change on the page is a message that identifies the sentence and cites the source the reader would prefer we use.
The reviewer is Priya Rajan CFA, financial-fraud investigator, who holds the right to remove her name from any page whose factual position she cannot defend and who signs off every material update to the site. Her review covers customer due diligence framing under the Money Laundering Regulations 2017, the accuracy of enforcement figures against the UKGC public register, and the correctness of statements about card-scheme mechanics that a bank's compliance team would recognise as their own.
